Telepatia
Telepatía was built around the idea of time made tangible. An ethereal quality that cannot be forced, only created by accident and patience. The concept began with fabric and texture: materials chosen for what they held in light, how they moved against skin, the way they absorbed or deflected the atmosphere we were trying to produce. On the first day of the shoot, daylight ran out before we did. We regrouped. On the second, a lamp broke. We replaced it with cellophane paper -a substitution that turned out to be more accurate to the mood than the original would have been. The final images exist because of those adjustments, not despite them. Art direction, at its most honest, is knowing when the accident is better than the plan. Photos by Vanessa Torres @esssauroo
